San Angelo Genealogical & Historical Society  This San Angelo Genealogy and the West Texas Collection at Angelo State University, are home to 13 counties in West Texas.

The West Texas Collection (WTC),
 located on the Second Floor of the Porter Henderson Library at Angelo State University, includes a reading room for research consultation, climate controlled storage rooms and a staff office. Microfilm and microfiche readers are available for viewing microform records. A photocopier is available in the reading room.
